High Tide Artists is a full-service artist management and development company based in Vancouver, Canada, dedicated to fostering long-term, sustainable careers for musicians.

Founded in 2018 by Alex Wyder, High Tide Artists grew out of a lifelong immersion in music and culture. Alex first established himself in the Vancouver scene through his blog, Vancouver Music Review, which focused on artist interviews, live coverage, and editorial storytelling, before contributing entertainment content to The Province newspaper. These early roles informed a career rooted in artist advocacy, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the Canadian music ecosystem.

Since transitioning into artist management, Alex has worked with both emerging and established artists across Canada, providing strategic career guidance, creative vision, and bespoke support. He has served as a juror for Creative BC, FACTOR, SaskMusic, and Music BC, and has contributed to board and strategic initiatives for BreakOut West, reflecting an active role in shaping the broader music industry.

High Tide’s mission is to build artist-first careers in a rapidly evolving industry, combining hands-on management with opportunities in touring, recording, marketing, funding strategy, and long-term creative planning. The company operates with a collaborative ethos rooted in the belief that a high tide raises all ships, prioritizing trust, clarity, and partnership.
