Getting his start in the local Vancouver scene, Alex partnered up with two friends to launch The Vancouver Music Review in 2011, a music website offering live reviews, artist interviews, and features. Less than a year later, he partnered with The Province newspaper to help develop their online entertainment blog, providing local music material. Having gotten a taste of the industry from his website, he then ventured into the field of artist management and services. Since 2013, he has built an impressive resume across Canada, having had experience touring and working with several established and up-and-coming artists in various capacities. In 2018, he established High Tide Artists as he expanded his roster. Alex has also served as a jury member for CreativeBC, FACTOR, and MusicBC.
